MODE OF TRANSPORTATION

The Climate Action Commission would like you to consider walking or riding your bike to the series as much as possible. Not only is this good for the environment, but with limited parking downtown it will decrease congestion when Live on the Avenue starts. Respect our neighbors and do not block driveways or park in red curb zones.

PARKING

If driving is your mode, then please consider parking a little further away and walking to the event. The downtown neighborhoods see increased traffic & congestion and lose parking spots in front of their houses when Live on the Avenue starts. 

CREEK PARK STAGE

Located in our beloved Creek Park on the corner of Sir Francis Drake Blvd. and Center Blvd.

RECOMMENDED PARKING AREAS

  • Sir Francis Drake Boulevard from the Hub to Bolinas Avenue on both sides.

  • San Anselmo Avenue south of Ross Avenue

  • Greenfield Avenue, which gives you a back entrance to Creek Park

SAFETY

Please drive slowly and carefully. There are a lot of people, including families with small children heading to the festivities. We ask you to plan a little extra time when maneuvering through downtown San Anselmo after 4:30pm when San Anselmo Avenue becomes closed to vehicles from Tunstead to Tamalpais Avenues.
