Encroachment Permit Application for Vendors, sponsors & Services
Please complete this application if you wish to participate as a food or beverage vendor during Live on the Avenue 2026. All applicants must be a San Anselmo based business and provide both a business license and certificate of insurance. Applications are subject to Town review and approval and must be submitted a minimum of 10 business days prior to the requested event date(s) for consideration.
Application for Small-Scale and Non-Commercial Vendors doing Community outreach & Tabling
Please complete this application if you wish to participate as a non-commercial exhibitor during Live on the Avenue 2026. Applications are subject to Town review and approval and must be submitted a minimum of 10 days prior to the requested event date(s) for consideration. You are required to provide the requested documentation in order to participate.
Encroachment permit RequirementS and Compliance
Applicant must have a San Anselmo based business
Applicant must provide a San Anselmo business license
Applicant must provide a Certificate of Insurance listing the Town as an additional insured
All vendor locations and size are subject to approval by Town staff
Town staff reserves the right to make necessary opertaional or safety related changes during the event
No sales of goods or merchandise is allowed
Applicant’s booth or space may not promote hate speech or contain items of violent intent
Applicants must abide by all conditions of their approved permit
The encroachment permits include important conditions that protect public safety, ensure emergency access, and promote the organization of the event for the enjoyment of all who attend.
If a vendor is found to be in violation of any permit condition, the Town will follow the process below:
First Violation. The vendor will receive a verbal warning and written notice identifying the violation and advising the vendor that any additional violation may result in revocation of the temporary encroachment permit.
Second Violation. If the vendor commits a second violation of any permit condition, the Town may revoke the temporary encroachment permit effective immediately, and the vendor will no longer be authorized to participate in Live on the Avenue.
