Nat Keefe & Friends

Nat Keefe co-founded Hot Buttered Rum fresh out of college, on a two-week off-trail backpacking trip in the High Sierra. The journey they began there has taken them to some of the finest stages in the country, including Telluride Bluegrass Festival, Newport Folk Festival, High Sierra Music Festival, headlining the SF Fillmore five times, and opening at the Greek Theater. Hot Buttered Rum is the Official Bluegrass Band of the SF Giants and they sing the National Anthem every year. Nat lead a trip to Ghana and recorded the album "Girl Thursday" with Ghanaian and American musicians. Recently, HBR traveled to Rwanda and Zambia as part of a State Department program to share American music and culture.
